Two representatives of SPPMD, Council for Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, participated in training course on the topic “Gender equality-is it reality?” that took place in Niš, south part of Serbia from 7-14.08.2016.
The training course lasted 7 days and the participating countries in this project were Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Austria, Armenia, Romania and Greece. During the training and the workshops, we gained knowledge about gender based violence, violence against woman and much more gender based issues.
For this issues we discussed with the whole group, or in smaller groups, even sometimes we had to work as individuals, so we developed our team building also as our individual thinking. We also had an intercultural night where every county had the opportunity to represent itself and it’s own famous drinks and food. It was a well spent week, productive and energetic, we now know how to implement the tings we have learnt in the society we live in and probably, probably we make a change.
