viEUpoint is a project that offers a unique opportunity to young people from five Balkan countries to write Case Studies with a clear focus on assessing the EU performance and providing constructive criticism regarding this performance in their country or in the Balkans as a whole.
The goal is to help the EU raise its efficiency and maximize its results in the Western Balkans by offering fresh and creative approaches that address its shortcomings.
A case study competition “How can the EU do better in your country/Balkans” is for young people ages 18-30 who come from Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Kosovo. The case study must be written in English and have a length of 1500-2000 words. The deadline for the submission is 31st December 2012.
The author of the best case study will receive 200 euros and an ivitation for a viEUpoint public debate in Skopje (March 2013)!
Top 5: The top five case studies will be published as Op-Ed-s in two newspapers and two online portals in Macedonia. These case studies will also be published in a publication on “How the EU can do better in the Balkans” which will be presented during our public debate on 4th of March in Skopje, Macedonia and will be handed out to EU representatives.
